What this site does not do
No cookies, no analytics, no embedded videos, maps or social-media widgets, and no fonts or scripts loaded from third-party servers. Nothing you do on this site is tracked.
Server logs
When you open a page, the hosting provider (provider name and address) records the usual access data: IP address, time of the request, requested file, transferred volume, referrer and browser identification. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR) and are deleted after 7 days.
If you write to us, we keep your message and address to answer you and for as long as the correspondence is needed, for example for the duration of an application process. Applications are handled according to TUM's data-protection rules for recruitment.
Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you and request its correction or deletion, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can also complain to the Bavarian data-protection authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht). The TUM data-protection officer can be reached at beauftragter@datenschutz.tum.de.
